Comments, concerns, notes about this program.
This text area right here is being done using the "HTML TEXTBox Extension". A drawing object is used to provide a border and a background color.
- First, I am currently using WYSIWYG Web Builder for my Web site.
- It seems simple and fairly straight-forward to use.
- I was able to utilize a trial period to test it out before buying it.
- The cost was reasonable - $40.
- Problems
- The basic program insert bulleted list doesn't seem to do it well as it uses table cells to separate the bullet from the text, and the bullets didn't appear like they should. An upgrade was to correct a problem with some of the bullets used not working correctly with Firefox, but it still creates a table to separate the bullet from the text and not very well. Why can't it just use the standard HTML for bulleted lists?????
Here I am using an "extension" to generate a bulleted list, but I haven't figured out how to modify the bullets used.
This is my playground for testing out various aspects of the WYSIWYG Web Builder program for generating web sites.
